Medical Update

Yesterday Cathy completed her second round of chemotherapy, five daily pills that were twice the dosage of her first round. She tolerated it well and is particularly happy about the short regiment. On July 5th she has her first MRI since her surgery nearly four months ago. On July 10th she goes to Duke for an evaluation at their brain cancer center.

Life Update

We are at the airport in Freetown waiting for our 5:30 am departure for Casablanca and then unto New York. We are scheduled to land at JFK around 6:40 this evening. It has been a great trip. Cathy gave away many hugs and the love of Serabu continues to bless us. The national presidential elections were held a week ago which curtained many people traveling to Southern Eye Clinic. A total of 118 surgeries were performed of which Cathy performed 26. She is grateful for being able to do what she enjoys most. We are ready to return home.
