The Day B-4 Eclipse ‘24
Cathy held up well during this busy week in Texas. Family visits in San Antonio (where we married on 6/16/79), Corpus Christi, Houston and Dallas were punctuated with mission scholarship presentations at Lovette College of Rice University and Cistercian Preparatory School in Irving. I won’t deny that sometimes I sense Cathy is slipping away. Her fatigue, headaches and nausea seem a little more frequent; her balance and memory a little less certain. And then she goes and tackles a busy week like this one! Go figure? Glio? Chemo? Putting up with me? It all factors in somehow. Thankfully we are scheduled at Duke in a couple of weeks for another MRI and smart people assessing her most current condition.
Our Summer 2024 Mission Scholarships include Anish Attarde (pictured below next to Tom with 2023 scholarship students Siddhant Patil and Celeste Wang) from Rice U., along with high school juniors Zach Fernandes from Cistercian and Shannon Craig from our hometown of Sayre PA. By Gods Grace we will all be there in June. But for now, we are on our way to Church to pray for our family and friends on this Divine Mercy Sunday.

Dear Tom and Cathy: We’re connecting with you from Memphis and the great work you both did here.
Cathy did a perfect removal of Louise’s cataract. I’m hopeful yall will return for an encore so she can do the same for me. We’ve missed seeing you both at St. Patrick’s. It continues to spread grace and love.
