Dear Friends, As our mission team arrives in Serabu, Cathy is in her final stage of dying. In addition to all of her other body malfunctions, she cannot move her legs, left arm or her head. She has lost functional vision due to nystagmus. She breathes shallow puffs with a loud death rattle. But this tough lady is not going easy. Rather, she is suffering greatly to move lots of souls closer to Jesus.

We have had a steady and deeply appreciated flow of visitors: children, grandchildren, siblings, and good friends. One of our prodigal sons arrived last week and the mom-son reunion was both tearful and joyful. Cathy shouted his named with a tone of disbelief when she first set her bedridden eyes on him. Speaking of joy, this picture is from a happier hookah-time in Egypt and is one that I like very much. My next update will be in a few days.
